Some later model wireless routers have the Password(ie.Encryption key) and the SSID already configured in the wireless router andthis information is printed on a label on the bottom of the router.
These settings can be used to configure the wireless card and wireless adaptersin your computer/laptop.
If these settings do not suit you, then it can be changed to suit yourrequirements.
The encryption key secures your data and wireless connection from unauthorizedaccess.To configure the wireless settings in the router, connect a LAN cablefrom your computer to the wireless router, then open a Browser on your computerand enter the router's configuration IP address, then enter the admin login andpassword and then go to the wireless settings and configure the SSID andEncryption key.
The router's encryption key can be a Passphrase or the WEP or WPA or WPA2key.If you use the Passphrase method select either WEP or WPA or WPA2 togenerate the encryption key. You can enter the WEP or WPA or WPA2 key with 8 to63 ASCII characters or 64 Hex digits.
Most people use Passphrase which is easier to remember eg. I was born inJanuary 1988.
The strongest and latest security is WPA2, the weakest and oldest is WEP. Toconnect to your wireless router from the computer/laptop, configure thewireless card in your computer/laptop with the router's wireless settings ieSSID, plus the WPA or WPA2 encryption key. Then computer/laptops cancommunicate with your wireless router.http://www.fixya.com/support/r10267861-network_security_key

Cant connect to wirless network

if you can connect to your wirless AP from other devices such as mobile or other laptop this means that you have to check the following:
1- delete then re-create your wireless profile .
2- make sure that your wireless adapter is cofigured to obtain automatic ip address not static.
but if you are not able to connect with other devices , then make sure that you have the correct security password (if any) or check the configuration of your Access Point.

The Canon is trying to connect to a wireless router or wireless access point which is connected to your computer network. Your Sprint 3g device is a wireless broadband device for Internet connection and cannot connect to the Canon using this device.
You need a wireless card that connects to the wireless router or wireless access point.
Otherwise you can connect to your printer using a printer cable.

Getting "Unspecified Error" While Opening an Excel File by using OLEDB Connection. I am Using Follwing Code to Open the Excel File. string connectionString = @"Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data...

Hello, you are probably using an incorrect connection string.

Usually you can use a datasource (such as Access Database) directly in an excel document. If that is what you are trying to accomplish here check out the following sites:
Plug into your data Connecting Excel to an Access database Office Blogs
OR:
Connect an Access database to your workbook

If you are writing software application, from within Visual Studio (depending on the version) go to the left-hand side bar to "Server Explorer" -> "Add Data Connection" -> Click on the "Change" button of the Data Source part and select the appropriate Access Data Source -> Click the "Advanced" button.

After that, you will see in the bottom textbox, the appropriate connection string for the JET.OLEDB Connection Provider.

This is shown in the image below:

fews-khtxegu4lrzhmquqt25la0x1-4-0.png Alternatively, you can find more information about your connectivity string in the link below:
https://www.connectionstrings.com/microsoft-jet-ole-db-4-0
For usage of an oledb connection object you can find info here --> https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.data.oledb.oledbconnection(v=vs.110).aspx

Cant connect xbox live to my wirless router

Typically that is located in the software of your router. Which means you need to open a web browser on a connected computer. Usually the URL to access the router's configuration page is: http://192.168.1.1
default username: admin
password by default: admin

in the configuration from there under wireless, and then wireless security, there would the location of the WPA key be.

How to connect vb with ms access

se Adodc OR Even better.. ADODB. for this you need to get MDAC fromMicrosoft free download.(check under project_References- Microsoft DataActiveX objects.. the current no is 2.8. if it is not there download invb directory.

next, you can learn about creating a DSN from control panel, ODBC. onceyou learn this, connection becomes a piece of cake. get some free vbtutoriasl from WWW.

then

you need to use DAO or ADO to connect to the database. better study both but since ADO is current, i am showing that code.
under Menu Project_References, put a check mark on Microsoft ActiveXData Objects latest version (though it works for all, currently 2.8with sp pack 1 ).

at the general declarations:
dim conn as adodb.connection, rec as adodb.recordset, esql as string,esql1 as string
Private Function connect()
Set rec = New ADODB.Recordset
Set conn = New ADODB.Connection
esql = "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=" & "D:VBDesigndhana2.mdb" & ";Persist Security Info=False"
'here you put the correct path of your mdb file. and check if you have jet 4.0

conn.Open (esql), , , 0
End Function

private sub form_Load()
connect
end sub
and for adding records:
say let us say you have 3 fields. then have 3 textboxes and 1 command button on the form.

private command1_click()
esql1="select * from Yourtablename"
rec.open(esql1),conn,, adOpenDynamic, adLockOptimistic
rec.AddNew
rec.Fields(0) = text1.Text
rec.Fields(1) = Text2.text
rec.Fields(2) = text3.text
' you need to check if in your access table design you have Allowed Zero length .. set it to Yes for all text fields.
rec.update
if not rec.eof then rec.movenext
rec.close
conn.close
set conn to nothing
end sub

this will add new records to access table from VB.
' for picture store the full path of the path and the picture file nameint the text field. and in the picturebox of VB form for viewingrecords again you need ADO or ADODC and here you code:picture1.picture=Loadpicture(rec.fields(3) ' depending on where thepicture field is located. you need to make a few trials.
under Menu Project_References, put a check mark on Microsoft ActiveXData Objects latest version (though it works for all, currently 2.8with sp pack 1 ).

at the general declarations:
dim conn as adodb.connection, rec as adodb.recordset, esql as string,esql1 as string

Private Function connect()
Set rec = New ADODB.Recordset
Set conn = New ADODB.Connection
esql = "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=" & "D:VBDesigndhana2.mdb" & ";Persist Security Info=False"
'here you put the correct path of your mdb file. and check if you have jet 4.0

conn.Open (esql), , , 0
End Function

private sub form_Load()
connect
end sub

and for accessing records:

private command1_click()
esql1="select * from Yourtablename where id =" & val(text1) ' for integers

esql1="select * from Yourtablename where name=" & "'" & text1 & "'" ' for string

rec.open(esql1),conn, adOpenstatic, adLockreadonly

label1.caption =rec.Fields(0)
label2.caption= rec.Fields(1)
label3.caption= rec.Fields(2)
' you need to check if in your access table design you have Allowed Zero length .. set it to Yes for all text fields.

rec.close
conn.close
set conn to nothing
end sub

' similarly there are routines to ADD, Delete, Edit, View etc.

Routers can only access so many adresses. Check the install disk and look at the router it may be a settings issue or too many devices.(not enogh info) You can link to your router by your computer and diagnose the problem.

I cant get wirless xbox live

The 1st question I have is, are you using the official Microsoft wireless adapter (sold seperatly) manufactured by Microsoft? That is the first solution to this issue. If so you must go into your router settings using the home router IP address usually listed on the router unit and setup the router manually to see the microsoft wireless adapter (sold seperatly), try typing this ip address into your browser address line (192.168.1.1) this is usually a generic router IP address to access your router. Your 360 should have a MAC address listed when in the settings and that should be seen by the router as well. Also check your firewall settings to make sure that it allows wireless transmissions. ( My computer usually has to be running for it to see wired & wireless devices properly). I also prefer just running a wired network for connectivity issues with wireless, such as other electronic interferrence from cordless phones & microwaves as I sometimes get with my nintendo Wii.

Wirless connection

I think you asked this twice, but here is my suggestion:

this information is setup at the router (Access Point) and you will need to get the information from there.. Although there are ways to 'hack' this information, I will not tell you how to do this here, as we do not want to enable 'hackers'...

You need to hard wire the computer to the Access Point and enter the configuration of the device.. within it, you will find the SSID (name of the wifi network connection) and the type of encryption (WEP, WAP, etc.). From this page, you can discover the Passphrase or Encryped Password, which will allow you to access the WiFi connection.
