Do you know the voltage for the power cord. I can't remember which cord goes to this router

The adapter you're looking for will be 12V DC 0.5Amp or may be listed as 500 mA.

Hope this helps FixYa,

Power input

I have one of these sitting in my attic dead. The power cord that is sitting with it has a DC19V 200mA output. Not 100% sure that is the right one but why else would it be there? :-)

How to get to the DMZ

it seems that the wr1500 doesn't have a DMZ feature. im not sure if it has a latest firmware that will provide DMZ but what you can do is use the port forwarding feature. you just need to know the ports of the applications that you want to pass the router's firewall

hope this'll help you and just ask me if you have other concern

ciao!

Power Supply

Have a look an the underside or back of the unit and see if it has a label on it with the voltage and current requirements.

May be something like 12v - 1Amp or similar like 15v - 800mA,
12v - 1200mA etc. These will more than likely be DC as the power supply has the electronics to convert the mains AC to low voltage/current DC.
If you can find them it will be easy to shop around for a power supply to match. It may also show the polarity of the plug that plugs in to the router from the power supply. i.e. outer = Negative (-), center hole =Positive (+).
