Plug in a headset to the phone. Does the call sound normal with the headset? If so, you may have a bad speaker on the phone.

My eirpiece does not work at all. it seems like there maybe a problem or it is a setting i dont know about. whenever making a phone call the person on the other line can hear me but i cant hear them unless...

Hello,

The problem with your phone is that the earpiece on your phone is bad that is why you cannot hear the party calling you or hear anything while you call.

All you need to do is to replace the earpiece on your phone and you will see that you can hear whoever you are talking to on your phone.

Change the earpiece on your phone and you will see that the problem is solved. meanwhile, you can keep using the headset pending the time you will replace the earpiece.

Take care.

if youve used a headset that plugs into your headset area visit this page for my solution that should work: http://www.fixya.com/PostAnswer.aspx?thid=1765391&prdid=914132, but not guaranteed, if youve never used a headset before then just be patient until another person can solve your problem. hope i could be of assistance.

My headset is grounded

pushing the jack hard may result in some connections pushed way off, and there is no contact to the speaker. Please see the nearest technician.

You probably plugged a headset that does not have a mic. after you unplug it your phone will think that the head set is still plugged in. these phones are stupid and after you unplug the headset it will still be looking for the mic. Plug in and out the headset rapidly and then your phone will give you a notice saying that there is no mic to the headset. this will fix your problem. P.S. keep insisting, this fixed my problem

Speaker button broke on my voyager when i push it nothing happens and when people call me i cant hear anything and they cant hear me plus its a brand new phone with same batery is it my battery???

i have same problem but me and my friend think we found a cause. if you use a headset to talk on the phone and you plug it in(not bluetooth), then you might have jammed the plug in too hard and your phone is recognizing that you have a headset in when you dont. so plug the headset in and talk and you can hear and other people can hear you. only answers i can give is 1) Hard reset, or restore factory settings rest 2) new phone or phone repair 3) if you dont mind voiding warranty( fyi, i am not responsible for any damages done to your phone or service interruptions or discontinuement due to contract violation of opening phone casing) opening your phone case to clean female connector(the hole where you plug in the headset) with a pencil eraser and letting it set for a couple of minutes. hope these work for you.
