One small problem, which might sound silly, is to check that the tap of the fuel is open. There are other reasons why fuel does not come. I think that fuel is not coming, or on the contrary, it could be that too much fuel is entering the engine. So you must check for a choke correction(if it has one). I am blaming the fuel system, because you said that the spark plug, sparks really well. A wrong grade or type of fuel could also be the cause. Also I suggest as you are trying to start the engine and adjusting and checking the fuel system...this must be done with no load at all. So remove the gun(or open it without nozzle...but better to remove the gun, so you have both hands on machine)....and you can supply water if you want. But work and test with NO LOAD!!
