I need a user manual for a Sanyo super showerwave 800w microwave. Model no. EM-G204 There aren't any on manuals online. Thanks Luke.

You can just type "EM-" (without quotes) in the search box at the Sanyo (Panasonic) support site here.

Check a few of the first results to see if they're close enough to help you.

If not, contact them via that page for more help.

My delonghi 800w microwave oven works but does not heat up food

If your handy with getting the cover off and looking inside... check the obvious.
I suspect :
fuse
thermister
relay
If both microwave and Heating elements dont work, then I will assume the magnetron is ok, ans we are dealing with a high voltage issue... and you will need at best... a volt meter and or neon troublelight...
moust appliances have a simple schematic inside... I would start with the heating element first... trace wiring back to circuit board... usually one side of the heating element is connected to the white wire (neutral) and live (Hot) side is controlled thru the circuit board... so finding the neutral should be easy... then trace with neon light or voltmeter...

I know easy for me to say... but with everything else working... it doesnt seem to be the microprocessor that controlls the unit...

My microwave sounds like its working but is not heating food

More than likely, what has failed is called a "Magnitron" and you can find them online and replace, you may have to take your unit out verify what model it is, and sizes. but yes fixable.

Did any other electronic items fail recently?

If sounds like a problem on the control board, possibly due to a surge.

I would suggest you contact a Sanyo-authorized service agent. You can find one here.

Sanyo microwave

Could be the Magnatron, Diode, HV Cap or Transfomer, some also have a high voltage fuse that blow. Unless you really are confident playing with Very High Voltages, and have a meter capable of 5000v, I dont recommend you repair yourself as a microwave will happily electrocute you. Also if the discharge resistor has burnt out on the cap (assuming it was fitted on your model) the capacitor can store enough power to kill you even when the unit is unplugged so you must discharge the cap before playing with anything else to be safe.
