About the only thing you can do is clean the batt. cover and contacts in batt holder. Make sure batts are good. No parts are avail. for this model. However this is a rugged camera and you can buy a hand held light meter inexpensive.

In my case, I had the same problem, because the housing that holds the two batteries built up corrosive material. Looking at the little housing that screws out from the camera the two batteries' negative poles face away from the main camera and towards the inside of the housing. It is where the bottom battery contacted this housing where mine had packed on corrosion disabling proper contact.
I cleaned the contact points out with q20 lubricating spray on an ear-bud, and also cleaned the thread where it screws into the body of the camera. This solved the problem for me. Now I'm a happy chappy again...

Lite meter don't work I bought it off internet seller said it was in exl.cond.it looks that's all

The built-in through-the-lens CdS exposure metering system of your KR-5 SUPER operates on power activated by two 1.5V SR-44 silver oxide batteries, which are supplied together with your camera. Have you changed the battery? Also, many of these older cameras the light meters are not very good. I would suggest getting one of the free smartphone light meter apps.

Light meter won't move

Check you battery ends and make sure there is NO corrosion. An emory board works good.....also check the contacts in the camera well.

The light meter is not working on my Pentax K1000

there are three different possibilities. remove three screws, take off bottom cover. remove three screws of battery holder, lift to see if the battery wire has corroded or broken off. solve by extending wire and resoldering. the next involves removing the top cover to see if the meter coil is dead,if this is the case it needs to be replaced, or there is a broken lead somewhere. usually it is cause no. 1.

Ricoh KS Super II 35mm SLR camera will not advance film and the shutter will not work. i love this camera and hate to throw it away. can i get it fixed somewhere and how much will it cost?

If the batterys are ok ,try rotating the speed control to X and the mirror will unlock from its upper position and the film will advance next time you try. Also the camera will not operate unless the leaver is moved away from its rest position, ie level with the camera body to its first movement area.

Exposure meter of Ricoh SLR camera ''KR-10X'' not working

No 35mm camera can be converted to digital. The other issues are purely down to the age of the equipment - replace it with a modern DSLR

Ricoh KR-10 locked focus ring

you can fix this if you have a jeweler's screwdriver ( x- head ).
1-take the lens off the camera.
2-take off the front name plate with a thin knife blade just right of H of RICOH name. gently pry the name plate up till it pops off ( not screwed on ).
3-remove the three screws from the plastic ring, ( large ring ).
4- pull the ring off.
5- where the metal ring touches the plastic lens barrel apply a few drops of light machine oil.
try to move the focus ring back and forth until it's free.
it can be further broken down but then the lens will have to be re-focused. as long as there is no impact damage this will work.

Sears ks super camera.

You'll have to remove the bottom cover. Either the mirror box or the shutter are stuck. re-cocking it is possible by moving the wind stop clear of the bottom portion of the film advance shaft.
