You can go to www.motorola.com and submit a request to receive assistance. simply go to "contact us", enter your contact information, then your issue. you can also call their support line and get free support. most likely, your phone needs to be re-programmed. OR, you could simply try a master reset (if you haven't already).

Nokia 5130 cant send or receive mms

Hi, the problem you are having is with the settings that are stored on your phone, the chances are these have never been setup correctly and you usually get this problem when you change the sim card in the phone to another sim or another network.

the settings you need for picture messages is the mms and the settings you need for the internet are the wap settings so if your internet is working on the phone just ask for the mms which is the media message settings or if you need the wap which is wireless access protocol settings then ask for these as well
now all you need to do to solve this problem is call your service provider and tell them the make and model of phone you have got then ask them to send you the latest mms and wap settings.

your service provider wont charge you anything for doing this and they will send you the settings via text message this will then update your phone to the latest settings and you will be able to use the phone as you want to then.

you can sometimes send the settings to the phone yourself via your service providers web site, but not all service providers offer this service so you would have to check.

the quickest and easiest way would be to give them a call and ask them to send you the latest settings. they will do this for free so just give them a call and your phone will be then set up correctly.

let me know if you need further assistance ok

plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

My phone can send text messages but will not receive them.

Hi the problem you are having is with your message center number this is a common problem and usually happens after you have changed your sim card to another network all you need to do to solve this problem is call your service provider and tell them the make and model of phone you have then ask them for the correct message center number.
they wont charge for this and they will tell you how to set it up, you will also need to ask them to send you the latest wap and mms settings so you can use the net and send and receive picture messages. they wont charge for this either and they will send you these settings via txt message and this will then update your phone to the latest settings.

I cant send text messages, keep coming back as failed, i have recently started using this phone and the sim is out of my old phone, ican make and receive calls and can receive calls.

Hi the problem you are having is with the message center number as you have changed the sim card the chances are the phone was with a different network and still has these settings installed.

all you need to do is contact your service provider and tell them the make and model of your phone then tell them you need to set up the message center number as you cant send messages and also ask them to send you the latest wap and mms settings, these will allow you to send and receive picture and video messages and also access the net.

your service provider wont charge you for sending all this to you and they will send them via text message after they have given you the correct message center number, this will then update your phone to the correct settings and then you will be able to use your phone as it should be used.

I have a p168c iphone and I'm having a hard time trying to set up the mms settings. I can't send and receive picture messages..

These settings are not just dependent upon which phone you have, but also are often specific to the network and even the call plan which you're on.

You'll need to phone your network operator for assistance; sometimes they can do it by sending a SIM update directly to your phone, other times they need to get someone to talk you through exactly which settings to enter.

I hope this has helped you today, please return the favour by rating my answer.

Picture messaging

what kind of sim card are you using in it now? in order to receive send pictures (other than bluetooth) you need a sim card. and if you have an att sim card in it and it is not letting you send receive picture mail, your internet is off. (we call this WAP in the industry). The easy fix:

Call ATT if you are using it on the ATT network and tell them to have the internet pay per use turned on. Then you will be able to receive MMS messages.
