No sound when doing a video

First off, most Youtube videos have bad sound but most likely is you need to lower the volume for FLASH via the sound mixer. Both are using flash. Turn down the volume for flash videos. You also have volume control with the video themselves.

i dont think this will help but i have a kodak digital camera and when i do video i get no sound when i play it back. if you plug it into computer to download pics and video there will be sound with the video. thats how mine works anyway.. good luck..

On page 16 of the PDF user manual, which is labelled 'page 10', it says "NOTE: Audio is captured during video recording. Audio can be heard when the video is played on a computer or when the camera is connected to a TV (page 30)." I think that's a nice way of saying that you can't play the sound in the camera.

All you need to do is to install the drivers for Video and Sound again with XP compatibility mode. Then re-start the computer and you are good to go.

Aw, this is very rare. Both digital and analog connection no sound? First, make sure with analog connecting cable working, must be the original JVC A/V cable and 2nd, when connecting to PC, use the software provided (CyberLink) for playing and editing videos. Good Luck

Try playing any other recorded disc in the Camcorder to check you're able to hear sound from it.

Next, press and hold the Reset button on the Camcorder for 30 seconds then turn it off then back ON.

Then, try playing the disc in the Camcorder.

this may be due to codec issues, there are special video and audio codecs needed to give sound to webbased films and videos.
try downloding k-lite codec pack or xp-codec install, reboot and try to access youtube again!

HDMI definitely carries sound and video. That is what makes it so useful. One cable does it all. If you have HDMI input on your TV and you are trying to play video and sound through your laptop, you have to hook up the cable, select HDMI or digital sound from your computer sound settings and then re-start your computer (while attached to the TV0. well try to read your video by another media player like real player or media classic player if you have the seem problem try to convert the video to another format

playback on the camera? good news is that there really may be nothing wrong with thecamera

this model doesn't have a speaker. but it has a mic so it can record sounds
when you transfer the videos to the computer - it is supposed to play with a sound
