The information I have is for a Whirpool or Kenmore model front loader. you posted this under "Generic" so I'm hoping this is the model we're discussing. If not, please proivide me with the necessary information, so I can assist you better. Now...the cheapest place I have found to purchase parts for this model is searspartsdirect.com. Just type in yoor model number and follow the headings on the next page. There should be a listing for the tub and basket. The part you will need is the spin basket. Now...dependent upon how long you have used the washer in its current condition, you may need additional parts. The following link epxlains the procedures for disassembling the washer and replacing the basket:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r752855-replacing_rear_tub_bearing

I know this is a lengthy read and may be a bit intimidating. Its not as bad as it seems as I have done many of these repairs. I would recommend moving the washer to a garage where you can have the room to work on it. In addition, pay attention to the list of parts that you MAY also require at the bottom of the link. If you need assistance with parts identification/location, please post back with your model number and I will attempt to lead you in the right direction. I hope this helps.

Where do i find the drain plug on whirlpool duet washer

You have to be more specific. Is the machine not draining? It drains under the drum which has a tendency to clog over time from lint etc. There is a catch screen but that can become clogged also. You can tilt the machine forward to access the bottom. On the right side you'll see the black drain hose. If there is water in the machine, be careful tilting it forward as the water may run out. If you want to access the drain from inside, you have to remove the drum. As the drum has a tendency to stick to the shaft, you halve to use a piece of 2"X4" and a scissor jack or bottle neck hack on the shaft to lift it off of the shaft. To access the drum you first need to tilt the top back off first. They is two spring clips located approx. 6 inch in on either side under the top piece. Use a narrow putty knife to locate them and push them in and up. The back of the top is hinged so be careful tilted it back. when you push on the clip lift up on the top part of the machine at the same time. Good luck.

What does error code 91,721.00:1039 on Xerox ColorQube 8570 mean

The error is a printhead tilt fault. It's unable to tilt on the axis, caused by a fault camshaft and process motor. The part you need to fix it is 8570-Z1.

I have a GE select top loading washing machine that is about 12 years old. When lifting up the lid you notice the drum is off to the side . Its as if the drum is detached from something. I can move the...

What you describe sounds kind of normal, the drum is suspended by three hangers and is allowed to seek it's own "center". If the machine is not LEVEL, you will see what you describe. Even so, not necessarily an issue, unless the drum assembly hits the machine housing.

Try placing a level on the machine and level it up. THE FINAL step is to tilt the machine forward, releasing both back feet, and let the machine back down. This should set the rear "self leveling" legs, correctly. The machine should be stable.

The ability to move the drum side to side by hand is normal and okay.

Model A112 Ser 11 clunking noise during

Might not be that big of a problem. You may want to check to se if the drum is level or not. If it looks like it is, but not sure take the front service panel off to access and check to make sure that the 4 (usually 4) rods that hook to the drum that suspend it are all connected and on. You can easily see if they are or are not buy grabbing each one (you will easily be able to see the front ones with no problems) and seeing it yu can actually move it side to side, if you can, one has 'popped' out. While you can tilt the drum and pull down on the rod that 'popped out' manupulate it with one hand while tilting the drum with the other. Obviously if you have someone who can tilt the drum as you guide the rod with the assembly back into place it will much easier for you to guide them in wich direction to tilt it for you to get the maxium leverage on the rod.

The rod has a cyclinder type attachment to it, almost at the end (it can be adjst for height if needed but I would adjust it) and it will nestle right back under the brackey arm that is attached to the drum. Obviously your going to need to replace the bracket as it's bent, which it probably made it pop out in the first place. This is usually caused by doing lots of heavy loads, especially 'towels & blankets'. You can take a hammer and tap the bracket end back around the piece connected to the rod and that will buy you some time, also lighting you loads until you can replace the item will help.

Hope Ive helped you out.

Xerox Phaser 8560 - error code: 07,010.43:205458

This is from the service manual. If you remove both sides and home everything it should come ready.
Harry

The 7,007.49, 7,008.41, 7009.42, and 7,010.43 errors indicate that the
Printhead was unable to tilt normally on its axis. Possible causes include:
??  The printer was powered off in the middle of a cleaning cycle and the
Wiper Blade has frozen to the Printhead.
??  A Drum Maintenance Camshaft lobe is broken and holding the Drum
Maintenance Kit’s oil roller against the Drum when it should be retracted
to its home position.
??  Process Drive not being aligned correctly.
??  A damaged Printhead Restraint.
??  Ink spilled in the Roll Block preventing proper Printhead motion.
??  Ink or other debris under the Printhead preventing proper motion.
??  The Wiper Assembly not being aligned correctly or ink spilled in the wiper
tracks.
??  The Head Tilt Gear not being homed correctly.
??  The X-Axis Motor nose cone not being installed correctly.
??  The ferrite torrid on the Printhead interface cable has slipped behind the
Printhead causing the Printhead to bind when it tilts backwards.
??  The black plastic shroud on the back of the Printhead is snapped off and
binding the Printhead when it tilts back.
Caution
After servicing the printer, manually set the following assemblies to their
home position before powering on the printer. See Section 6 for
instructions on setting these components to their home positions.
??  Printhead (tilted forward and disengaged from Printhead tilt gear)
??  Head Tilt Gear (disengaged from Process Drive train; arrows on left
frame point to each other)
??  Wiper Assembly (bottom of travel)
??  Process Drive (holes on Transfix Camshaft and Drum Maintenance
Camshaft line up with marks on frame, large gears within assembly
line up with holes in Process Drive housing)
