Thanks, I will as I am not aware of that. WL2Y sent me his email address. I'm a bit uncomfortable in giving this out to just anyone. How do you feel about that?

Just looked at Elance.com Looks interesting. Fortunately for me, the Realtor web site I built in '97 has javascript I created at the time that is still working just fine in the browsers, thankfully. I get nods from the Realtor all the time when I see them in town. I used javascript and the DOM to reference both IDs I had assigned to create variables and avoided XML entirely. XML was abused by MS in my mind by how they converted on save from a doc to web page.
My point is that I've walked away from Web Sites as here where I live, no one wanted to spend the money to do it right. Last nibble I had was last year and when I insisted on a significant down payment, then they balked. I don't intend to get burned on another web site ever again which happened to me over a self published book that didn't make the owner a million in the first month, despite of my insistence they understand it takes time, a good deal of tmie, for a web site to propagate and get noticed and then used. You understand, I'm sure. Besides that it was a bit of a scam on how to get your own patent. There was extensive use of public knowledge that was massaged to look as if the author created these methods that are in general use and published by the US Govt. Publishing Office.

- I did give Elance a longer harder look and I am pleased to see what I saw. So, thanks for the link. I'll take advantage of it and yes it will probably make me some money in the future. Thanks again.
As to Patrick, he's going to run out of feet to shoot himself. You know, the expression here in the States, "to shoot yourself in the foot". It means to purposely stating something self-righteously and have it backfire when backfiring was clearly what the out come would be.
I don't believe I'll send him anything as I don't disclose my email address that easily. I get more mail as it is, then I care to receive and take the time to delete. I wish Patrick good luck, I was surprised he wore out his welcome so fast. I'd like to know what he did that got him the boot. Sure, he was the way he is in the threads, so what else is new? If must be something he said to a customer I guess and not an expert as he stated in the forum.

- Oh, I'll join Elance. I'll take the same amount of time to read the contract as I would in the real world. And get familiar with the site's design and read the forum, etc. for quite some time before I make a move to join. I have to be ready to work on request should I hang my shingle out on that website.
I have found that if you continue to hammer away on the same complaint, put in a very political format, that action is eventually taken. I was astonished by Var Pun as an expert when six of his seven FixYas are not locked by a customer. From the reaction of staff to my points on this, I came to an ephiphany that this may be a staffer in disguise and the rating was artificially raised to get them into the experts realm of Premiums and Live Chats. I'm not sure if this is the case or not but appears that it just may be in that no action was taken or was going to be taken. Then this morning I get an email from Chen stating that they are aware that these unlocked ratings create an artificial position in FixYa and would be dealt with accordingly. Therefore, if it was used to get a staffer into our realm for research purposes or not, there are employees of FixYa with ratings that get them into the Experts realm and some of these that were created artificially are what we are seeing, not all of them of course, but there are some that have to be considered to be so. And this would not be a bad thing. It is FixYas response to our complaints that have to be taken into consideration under this theory.
BTW, had a few brief conversations with DarkLord1 when I Buddy Talked with him on using one of his tips in a post that he is tied up with a project right now and when that is done will be back on the boards here. It will be nice to see this Expert back. He as with you is one of the great thinkers we have here. Seems Toyota Ed may be one of those rare breeds also. Can't wait to toss about some more deep thinking here. Perhaps on the future of world politics 20 years from now. We'll see. But I thought I'd mention he hasn't gone away.
