Question about GE JGBP28 Gas Kitchen Range
I have a simalar problem with my oven. All the top burners work fine.
I was fortunate enough to have a "nice" gas represenative come out
when I had problems with another gas problem. He took the oven
apart inside. Where all the baking is done. He showed me a part
3-4 inches long, secured onto the gas pipe 3/4 of the way down the
pipe (funnel) This piece comes off with screws and is commonly
easy to replace. I just need the name of part? Can anyone help?
I think you are referring to the Thermo-coulper. It has to heat up to allow the gas to flow and acts as a safety device to shut off the gas if the flame goes out. Good Luck.
