You need to replace the lightbulb. You may need to remove the cover over the lightbulb off in order to remove the bulb. Take the bulb to the local sewing machine repair shop or order a replacement online.
FWIW, you may want to consider an LED bulb. They are much brighter and do not get hot like the standard bulbs.
look at the top. there may be an access thingy you can remove to get to the lightbulb. replace the lightbulb with suitable replacement. problem solved.

You should be able to purchase a replacement bulb in any lighting department that stocks a full range of light bulbs including appliance bulbs; this would more commonly be referred to as an oven light bulb.
open bonnet and under slam pannel behind lights unclip and take out bulb, take to local parts retailer and ask for new one, dont touch glass of metal contact and insert new one, this will work, dont take it to a garage as they will charge you loads
Most shields push in then down to engage them so push in and lift straight up. They are tight so will take a little pressure to remove. They have 2 or 3 tabs.
