Memory has nothing to do with drive capacity.
If your drive is not full, no worries. Great.
If you are low on memory, you can do two things:

a) buy more memory for your pc.
b) download Mike Linn's Start-Up CPL applet (free)-
-1 install it in the system32 folder
-2 open your control panel
-3 double click the new Start-Up applet
-4 examine all the start-up entries
-5 disable every unnecessary start-up item by unchecking boxes next to them
-most of these entries will be unnecessary, such as quick time, real media, any IM client, etc.
you can launch those programs when you want to use them. it is unnecessary for them to start with your pc and this will free up available system memory.

you do NOT need to format your drive.
you do NOT have a drive space problem
you have inadequate system memory.

How do I remove errors and viruses without paying hundreds of dollars?

If the computers infected the virus may load into memory at boot and will also be in the restore files. If you can get someone to download the Kaspersky's rescue disk (free) and burn it to disk. On your computer go into the BIOS at start up - Press F2 (or F11 or delete) when you power on & keep pressed until you see entering setup. - Find the entry for start up devices and make sure the first device is your CD, then save and exit. Put the Kaspersky disk in and start the computer. There are instructions on how to use the disk on the Kaspersky's site. This will start in Linux and remove viruses and malware before windows starts. Then open the control panel, open system and turn off system restore. If you havn't got an antivirus there are plenty of good free ones, Avast or AVG are OK and download a free anti malware like super antispyware. Run a full scan with both. You will have spent nothing and few viruses could survive this.

My Phone memory is always full?

If even after all the downloaded files are removed the phone still shows the memory to be full , this can be a fault with the memory of the phone and is related to the main board being a suspect. If possible connect you phone to a PC using the linking cord and check on memory , scan for virus, check status of memory after deleting files that are big.

My memory card is full so I can't take more pictures. I want to delete the old ones which are saved somewhere in the disk but it only shows the old pics in the camera, only when i put the memory card...

If your memeory card is a SD card then -
SD and Micro SD memory cards has a smallslide switch on the edge of the card, which write protects data on the memorycard. Slide the switch from the READ position tothe WRITE position, which is furthest away from the contacts. You can then delete the phots using your computer OR format the memory card using the camera.

Just bought a hp mini and now has a virus infection. What do we do??

If its possible to burn disc, back the essential data first.
Dont use flash memory/USB device for this purpose. Virus spreads though them easily.

If the infection is small, u might be able to install some good antivirus software like McAfee or Kaspersky [my suggestion] and do a complete scan.

If the antivirus virus fails, the only way out is to re install the operating system. Backup the data first...

After reinstallation u still need antivirus software.
Donot open any drives further.
Install it from a CD.
then erase all drives except C drive[where u installed ur OS]- full erase by right clicking on the drive icon and selecting format option [dont perform quick erase]
Then do a scan to remove any malicious items...

Read this again b4 u proceed. All the best...
Hope this helped

My laptop has recently been saying globalroot/systemroot/system32/gasfkyoyetesod.dll on everything before i open it. what does this mean and how do i resolve this problem

It is very possible that you have a trojan running rampant in your system. First I would run MalwareBytes Anti-Malware tool....get it here:

http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/

Wehn you run ir, make sure other programs are shut down and most services are idle. Perform a quick scan, if it finds anything, it will ask you to show the results, delete everything it finds.

Next, run Kaspersky Anti-Virus 9.0, perfrom a full scan, delete what it finds....
