SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Does this Canon printer have a chip that needs to be removed before the fax machine is discarded?

all fax/printers/copiers will have a printed circuit (PC) board which may contain hazardous materials. These are usually not accessible to users without taking the entire unit apart. In addition, there may be other sources of lead, mercury, and other hazardous materials in other parts (fusers, toners, etc.) as well. I would recommend taking this unit to a recycling center vs. throwing it in the trash. They will safely remove any hazardous parts and recycle the rest of the unit.

I found a site with many listings for recycling, many of which are free of charge.

Hope this helps.

How to connect to computer

The unit has a parallel port interface and is supported under Windows 95/98/Me, Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP . The drivers are available here: http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/office/laser_facsimile/laser_class_2050_2050p_2060_2060p/laser_class_2060p?selectedName=Specifications#DriversAndSoftware . For the supported OS versions, download the drivers and then run the exe. If it extracts drivers, note the folder in which they are stored. Then launch the Add a Printer Wizard (Printers and Faxes in XP IIRC). If your computer doesn't have a parallel port, parallel to USB adapters do exist.

Neither Vista or Win7 Compatibility Center have the unit listed. The XP driver may work in Vista 32-bit with the compatibility mode on. For Win7 or Vista 64-bit, I'd suggest a second computer, a dual boot computer or a virtual computer with an older Windows OS. For the most setups, you'll need a licensed version of the Windows OS. (Virtual computer software include: Parallels, VMWare and Virtual PC.)

With Win7 Pro or Ultimate, you can download Virtual PC and XP mode from Microsoft for free, then install them in order. The printer will install normally into the XP virtual computer. However, files from the main computer will need to go onto optical media or an external drive in order to share them with the virtual computer for printing.

I hope this helps.

Hey

check where the paper comes out after a copy or fax, there is a lever ( sensor ) there, it is most likely stuck in the up position, it should be able to go down after each print. "output tray full means there is too much paper in the output bin you need to remove it before continuing to print.

Canon fax 2060P not recieving faxes

It seems that the protocol is failing. Just check, by printing a receive report. If there are errors it is after the check frame. If no errors, it is failing before the check frame. In either case, 1st aid is to listen using a handset for noise or static on the line. If the line is clear, then you will have to call service to change the tx/rx attenuation.
