Question about Astar DVD-3100 DVD Player

Bad disc?? everytime i put a disc in it goes through the loading process and then always reads "bad disc".

Throw out this piece of junk and get a brand name. Mine lasted a year, and the support phone line has been disconnected!

Take off top cover and manually clean laser with wet q tip then use dry q tip to absorb excess moisture.

What recording disc do I use for bdhddcombo when recording o TV channels


It is better to use the slowest eg 4X disc possible but some channels may not record due to encryption

Zenith dvd5201 tray won't open. How do you remove case to release tray? I have unplugged and replugged and then held open/close for 5 seconds without success. I don't have local repair.


It sounds like the drive belt is slipping or a disc stuck.

My factory DVD player will except disc the ejects it


If I understand your rather cryptic post correctly...

This very well could be a Blue-Ray disk loaded into a
non-Blue-Ray capable DVD player. Your car player's capabilities MUST match the disc, otherwise, the disc won't play.

I've run into this very same problem with my home DVD players. Which both are non-Blue-Ray capable, but I was able to verify the Blue-Ray discs on my PC.

Would like to know the codes for a LG tv, Sony tv, and a TOSHIBA DVD ?


How to Program


Remotes With SET Button
1. Choose and press a device key i.e TV. LED will flash once.
2. Press "SET" Hold until the LED Lights up.
3. Enter the 4-digit Device code (refer code list).
4. The LED will flash once as each number is programmed at the end of the 4 digit the LED will turn off immediately if correct. If the LED flashes then something went wrong in the process. If the first code does not work then repeat the process with the next.
5. Important - Some brands use other manufacturers to make their devices if the codes available do not work the try the MAGIC search function.

MAGIC SEARCH FUNCTION
1. The magic search function enables you to scroll through the entire code list one by one by pushing the on/off button. Each time you push the on/off button the remote automatically switches to the next code in the list and sends a signal to the device you have chosen.

3. Press and hold the SET button or if no SET button then hold BOTH the CHANNEL UP AND VOLUME DOWN button until the LED Lights up.
4. Enter the 4-digit Device code (refer MAGIC list) i.e TV is 0001.
5. The LED will flash once as each number is programmed at the end of the 4 digit the LED will turn off immediately if correct. If the LED flashes then something went wrong in the process.
6. Start scrolling by pushing the ON/OFF button as soon as your TV or Chosen device turns OFF lock the code in by pushing the DEVICE key again.

Resetting your Router and Set-Top Box can resolve a variety of issues such as:

No, all settings and selections you've entered such as device codes, favorite channels, and recent On Demand selections are saved and available after resetting your Set-Top Box.

Resetting your Router and Set-Top Box
Always reset your Router first and then check to see if that resolves the issue. Resetting your router may be all that is needed.
Important note about your router To avoid problems with your FiOS TV service, make sure your router is plugged in and turned on at all times. Even if you are not currently using the Internet, your router still needs be turned on so that FiOS TV can function properly.
To manually reset your router:
  1. Unplug the power cord to your Router for 15 seconds and then plug it back into the electrical outlet.

DVD player wont eject dicks or play just say's disc error


You need to insert dicks into the DVD player, also, once it ejects the dicks, you should wait 20 minutes or so before attempting to eject more dicks.
