Question about Toshiba Satellite A205-S4617 Notebook
My computer was bit slow and i thought to get a new recovery cd from toshiba and i try to us that cd for my system recovery at that time i got the error cod 10-FC06-000D so could you help me for that pleaseeeee my mailing address is firstname.lastname@example.org
Error code 10 XXXXXXX is related to hardware. It is default code generated by device manager when the operating system failed to determine which specific error code to return after an error occurs.
Error code 10 error pertains mainly to hardware issues and to compatibility issues between hardware and the software.
To troubleshoot the code 10, go to control panel>system> device manager and check if any of the hardware display a yellow “!” or a red “stop”.
1). Update the hardware device driver from either Microsoft or device vendor web site.
If the device is preinstalled on the computer, visit the computer manufacturer’s website.
2). Make sure the device is enabled in the computer BIOS. You need the system documentation, if you don’t know how to do it.
3). Disable any advanced feature of the device.
4). Install the most up to date service pack and any other updates.
