My table top superchef roaster keeps cutting off circuit breaker

Marlene, These roasters use a lot of power. Make sure you are plugging roaster into a separate plug (one with its own circuit) and it must be compatible amperage for the appliance. If all checks out OK, the appliance may have a bad cord or control shorting out and in that case return it for refund or exchange.

Do you add water to the bottom pan before you state cooking with it?

Hi,
Yes, you need to add a couple of cups of water first... more depending on what you are cooking...if the meat you are cooking will make its own juice then you need not add any more...also if you are cooking at a higher temp then like 350 then you may need more water as it will boil off...

I have a 18 quart roaster oven and need to know where I can buy the 3 tray buffet server

Hello. This roaster has been so popular, Rival can't keep them in stock. It does not appear that you can purchase the server separately. That said, here is a website where you will be able to order an entire oven and server for under 50$.

What can I do about my noodles sticking to the bottom of my Rival Roaster?

The heater element is in the bottom of this cooker, which creates the challenge. You could switch to a Nesco, which has the element around the sides (joke). If you preheat the roaster for at least 20 minutes before putting the pan in, that helps. Then of course, a layer of foil in the bottom, and a heavy spray of the griil type Pam (works better at higher heats) will help; and you can drop the temp 25 degrees and add 30-45 minutes to the cook time.

Placement of water in the roaster

Hi Joan,

To prepare a turkey, I first spray the liner and grate with Pam. Then prepare your turkey as usual. I do not salt the turkey as I found out the hard way that it make the juices too salty. Instead, I stuff, then butter the outside of my turkey. You should have the liner inside the roaster, with the grate on top. Put your turkey on the grate, add a can of chicken broth. Cook per instructions. I have found out that the tukey will be done quicker then it states in the instructions. If this happens, just keep the turkey warm in the roaster. Good luck.
