Re: Print from MAC OSX 10.5 on Xerox WC 7346
It's not necessary to buy a new printer, which should be good news, since a WC7346 is quite expensive material. but mac mostly uses PostScript as print protocol. so obviously, a printer without PostScript will not work on a mac. to solve your issue, you should add PS-modules to the printer, which look like old fashion printer memory modules...
I had a similar problem when i switched from windows xp to mac osx. i had a dell printer and had the same problem. the end result is that there are no mac drivers for dell printers and i had to go and buy a new one. this could be your case i would check with your printer manufacture to be sure. if they say it is not compatible than i would get a new hp photosmart printer. i bought one and it prints amazing photos and has seperate ink cartreges for all the different colors i love it
hope that awnsers your Q

MacOS does not support PCL driver (only the latest versions of MacOs support it). You need to install the PS (PostScript) Driver but for that your machine needs to have PS installed to.
This is optional on several models.
If you really what to print with your Mac and extract all functionalists you have to put this optional.
You could go around the problem by installing in Your Mac a virtual machine with Windows...
Hope this helps
I haven't checked in a while. Xante told me when I called them that they were not planning to make updates past the current version of the 4G OS X drivers, as the machine was no longer in production. They said the driver should perform adequately on current versions of OS X even though it was not initially designed for them (as they did not exist when the driver was created).
I found this to be untrue in my case. The drivers did not allow me to print consistently from 10.5.8 on an Intel Mac Pro.
My solution was to activate the print server on an Xserve running the Tiger server version of OS X, install the Xante driver there (since it was designed to run on that version of the OS), and now my newer macs can use the printer without issue.
Try downloading and installing a PCL language driver from the Xerox.com site for the phaser 3200. It looks like that could be a PostScript issue. Installing the right driver is very important anyway. If that does not help, try and copy paste the document in a new document and save first as the old document could be corrupted. If this does not help either lemme know and I think of something else.
Xeror does not list a Mac driver for this unit. There is a Xerox Global print Driver, which supposedly "drives " all Xeror printers. But again I do not know if it will work on Mac's.There is a phone for this driver support @ 18773626567
