No. The S700's lens does not come off. You can add some accessory lenses to the front, but it's not the same thing as swapping one lens for another.

Canon EOS 500n 35mm Film Camera, best cheap lens

In short, you won't. All Canon Digital SLR's use the same lens mounting system as your EOS 500n and new lenses are very expensive especially for those who have purchased full-frame models.

As a result, demand for the lenses which fit your camera is very high and so prices are high as well: it's just basic supply and demand economics. There were cheaply made kit lenses available with your camera when it was new, but like most kit lenses they weren't built to last, so most of the older ones are either non-functional or have been scrapped after owners upgraded. All that leaves are the higher quality, well built, lenses from the time your camera was made which are far cheaper than new lenses but still comparatively expensive.

If you want cheap lenses then you've picked the wrong system. Buy an older FD mount Canon SLR if you want to stay with Canon; you'll then find that lenses are so cheap that they're often offered for free on your local FreeCycle group. The same source is where I've got all of my manual focus (and some AF) SLR equipment over the last few years.

Olympus om-2 cvamera lenses

You are able to use your old OM lenses with a new Olympus digital SLR camera. You will need to purchase an MF-OM 1 lens adapter to be able to connect these lenses to the digital SLR camera. Also when using these lenses you will only be able to use the camera in manual focus mode as these lenses are not capable to shhot with an auto focus mode.

I want to add lens to my fujifilm s5600 to take better pics

There are lenses available to add with an adapter ring. I have the wide angle lens (which I LOVE) and a 2x telephoto lens. The wide angle lens allows me to macro from several feet away. It is an amazing lens. The telephoto lens is something you really need to use with a tripod. But yes, there are lenses you can add to your camera.

I have an cannon SLR AE1 that uses film. I would like to know if there is a a digatol SLR body that I can put my lineses on.

No, Canon EOS models use a different type connection for its lenses (EF series) and thus will now work with the "FD" lenses from the AE-1

How to use a manual zoom lens with Evolt 510

By manual zoom lens I am assuming you mean a film camera lens. If it is one of our OM 1 or 2 lenses they can be used on our Olympus digital SLR camera but you will need to purchase an MF-OM1 converter to be able to adapt those lenses to fit on our digital SLR camera. Then you will only be able to shoot using those lens in manual focus mode. Auto focus mode will not be available.

Does dust specks inside lens cause blur in the pictures?

If you have a SLR camera you can take your lense off and clean it.. I do not reccoment canned air because if you do not use it the right way liquid will come out. At best buy they have cleaning kits, and in their kit they have a little brush that you can squeeze regular air and brush off anything on the lense or around the lense, If you have a SLR camera you might have a built in cleaning option... SLR means Single Lense Reflex and this means your lense can come off/interchangable..

Lens adapter

Hi

I do not believe that it is possible to use a lens adapter with this camera or even filters.

The lens that comes with it has a wide focal range and the camera itseld is sold as a compact.

You may need to look at a fully digital SLR to get this feature

Minolta 7000 SLR

The Konica-Minolta 5d, and 7d, both discontinued but available used on ebay and other places will work with your AF lenses, as well as all the sony alpha camera bodies. KM sold their camera business to sony, and most of the whole maxuum/alpha/dynax group of engineers went with the sale to Sony. I had a 7000, and an 8000i, and all my lenses are quite happy on the 7D I picked up a few months ago on ebay.
