During my installation I have this message: "Device driver software was not succesfuly installed " I need assistance getting this device installed.

Installing software problem


Well, how about trying to redownload the driver for the device and see if that helps at all, if not, I will try to figure out what else it could be,

To install new software


Nowadays PDAs and Smartphones come with different operating systems. Nokia and Sonyericcson use the Symbian based software. You have indicated your model group as i-mate. It comes with Windows CE pocket PC edition which is totally different than Symbian. There are many softwares available. what kind of software do you need? You can proceed to download.com and choose the category as Windows CE or Pocket PC you will see alot of applications

Installing San Disk Wireless Lan Card for Dell AXIM 5


Actually the reason why it's saying that is because that card is not compatible with the Dell Axim X5 because if it was you wouldn't get that response. I'm still looking for a Wi-Fi card for mine as well because I ordered the P500 Wi-Fi compact flash card from Dell then come to find out it wasn't compatible with the Axim X5, it was discontinued.

If you install the Toshiba Pocket PC e570 via USB cradle under Windows 2000 or Windows XP a warning message may appear durning this installation: The driver for the USB cradle comes from Microsoft and is integrated in the ActiveSync 3.5 Software. This driver has not been signed, therefore this warning appears. Please Note: This is only a warning messages. You can certainly continue with the installation, and expect the driver to run well. Microsoft has produced a new ActiveSync Version 3.5 and has released it 1st of March 2002 . The issue is solved in the new version. The version number has remained the same, but the Build Number has increased form Build 1176 to Build 12007. This new ActiveSync Software can be downloaded from the Microsoft.

EUU2 Improvements This update provides improvements to the following problems. Calling IpReleaseAddress() causes a multi-homed Pocket PC 2002 device to stop responding. Server Sync cannot synchronize if a specific meeting is in Inbox or Calendar. ”Trouble Connecting” error appears even when a user wants to end a connection FTP User/Password authentication default overrides user “anon.” Pocket Internet Explorer sometimes does not send Submit button Name/value information. Pocket Internet Explorer is slow to load a pages with JScript®. IMAP4 service stops responding when attempting to download e-mail with certain attachments. Media Player Full Screen playback breaks on second played clip. Advanced VPN Settings will not save in Pocket PC 2002. System .WAV sound files have extra noise at the end. Setup and Installation The PPCEUU2_.CAB file includes the EUU2 improvements described above as well as all previous updates. Once installed, the device will permanently store the changes in flashable ROM, saving the device RAM for applications and program memory. Be sure to back up all of the data on the Pocket PC 2002 before beginning the installation process. Ensure that the device has a minimum of 9 MB of free system RAM*. (Refer to your owner’s manual on how to free up additional memory.) The required memory is used only for the installation and will be available again once the setup has completed. Be sure to keep the device connected to your power adapter during the updating process. * System RAM is RAM available to the device apart from additional RAM storage cards. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Two methods of updating your PocketPC e310: Method 1. Updating your Pocket PC while connected to the Internet or intranet Ensure that the device is connected to the Internet or intranet through either a modem or LAN card. Navigate to the appropriate page to locate the PPCEUU2_.CAB file. Download the file. Answer “Yes” in the dialog box when you are prompted. The .cab file will open and install automatically. Blackberry torch 9860 with red x on the battery symbol , phone not charging Blackberry 9860 dead...Red Led light blinking for few seconds and icon x shows on battery symbol, Battery not charging, attimes it will show yellow thunder light in the battery symbol as if its chargin but after awhile the symbol with Red X crossing the battery will appear, its not booting only showing Red Led light and after turns to X crossing the battery. i ve tried to charge for many hour but still showing the X symbol. also i ve used MCP ,CFI method by cleaning with wipe and Nuke all in vain. also try Fast Installer and JLCommand they r couldnt get inside my device. All the OS ve been installing r from the carrier so didnt need to delete the Vendor....after everything it will stuck at 'reconnecting JVM'...I Used Apploader from Program file and also Desktop Manager stop at the same place..'reconnecting JVM'... I ve searched diff forum for solution but everyone keep sayin almost everything and so far i ve not beaten Reconnecting JVM.... Dont knw what might probably be WRONG?,,The device just exceed the warrantty given and moreover i left where i bought the phone.,,so ve to look for solution on my own. Is there anyone out that knw how to get out of this... Really need your assistance..? Everything was perfect with the phone until a notice/advert poped up on my device asking me to Upgrade my DEVICE to latest , which i clicked on and asked me the time i wanted for the upgrading to start,,,blablabla..Everything went well and my fone was upgraded and worked for a day but at night my battery was down as usual and after like 45/50minutes that i wanted to charge my battery. ICON WITH RED X SYMBOL APPEARS ON THE BATTERY SYMBOL and since then i couldnt power it on. Anybody that knows what i can do , your advice, solution ll be highly appreciated, Thank you
