It is right on the front panel for the main overload and the auxualiy is on the blower housing.
If your talking about the motor itself, it does not have one.

My Goodman Furnace Model GMS9 circulator blower makes rumbling noise. It sounds like something is not inline and I can feel it even when i'm sitting upstair too.

It sounds like bad bearings inside the motor, or an off balance blower wheel. When you say circulating blower are you talking about the main blower, or the IDM (smaller motor in the top cabinet)??

Have a SSR-EP100 air compressor that shows

Try to reset the main motor and fan motor over loads by pushing the reset on the overload it self, Then reset the controller. If the error resets, before starting. put a clamp on amp meter on to L1 or L3 motor lead which is located in the compressor electrical box . Then start and observe amps when unit is making air fully loaded. Once you know how many amps at full load the unit is pulling ,look at the overload setting on main motor overload and see if it is approxmately 10 amps above the max amps being pulled. If not set it about 10 amps above your max load amps.

Blower motor quite running. Checked all brakers for the furance. none were tripped. Do the 110 volt motors have a mortor overload reset?

Hello, the blower motor will stop running for one of three reasons 1) bad control board 2) bad capacitor 3) the motor itself is bad Usually once the motor cools off the overload will reset .

First I would suggest that you replace the start capacitor on your blower motor but if it is running for awhile that makes me wonder if the thermal overload is shutting your motor off. You can replace the start capacitor and then if it starts as it's supposed to and then shuts off you'll know the motor needs replaced also. I hope this helps you . THanks

Ihave a Goodman GUS075-3 model. Turned the heat on for the first time this year. After abt 5 mins. running it started to smell like it was on fire, the breaker shut off. Now,the pilot keeps going out and...

I would suspect that your fan motor burned out. What I would suggest is wait about 1/2 hour with thermostat turned down to lowest setting where it is not trying to turn furnace on. I would then turn thermostat back up to call for heat and see what happens. Most electric motors have a thermal overload on them and if its on motor will not run until it cools back down. Even if this works I would recommend that you have motor replaced and clean blower. Hope this helps. Thanks

My a/c only works on high. I was told that it was the blower motor resistor not sure where is located.

It's located near the fan motor on the passenger side duct work. It will have a harness plugged into it.
It's mounted with 2 sonic welds, to remove it pry under the mounting points to snap the welds. The replacement resistor is mounted with 2 self tapping screws.

They should have said located on a control board.
This is usually located behind the bottom door where
the blower motor is located. It usually is mounted in
front of the blower.

On the back of the door you will take off is a chart
that tells you how many blinks relative to what your
problem may be

Ac is on but nothing is blowing out

hi there!
well,in this case theres a lot of thing to be check here,if the compressor is running it's fine you didn't mention about it,if no blowing the blower is not functional, blower is run also by thermostat switching, have you ever check it out,try to set to a coldest temperature if blower run,if not run check the holding coil relay on panel control board if there is a reset for overload protection reset it,using multitester check the voltage supply on coil source while the unit is running,if you got a voltage source
your relay is defevtive replace.defective blower relay.and check
also if there is capacitor on blower motor.replace if defective.have a
nice day.rate me,thank's a lot

I have a Goodman GMPN120-5 unit where it works for 10-15 second and the blower turns off. After a few minutes it starts again and shuts off. The compressor continues to run though. Any suggestions?

This could be a bad motor, you know those things do happens! It will run till it gets hot and tripps out on internal overload , which reset whens its cools down.!
