Question about Nakajima AE-710 Typewriter
When I press a letter key the typewriter types a totally different letter. For example when I press "h" it prints "w"
Is there some way to fix that?
Check the pitch selector switch if it is in PS this will cause this problem.

Insurethat the pitch selector is not in the ps position. The switch may be bad.

You Want to make sure that the ribbon or correction tape are not inhibiting the rotation of the printwheel. If the ribbon is caught in the printwheel it will cause this problem. Thats usually what hapens. Otherwise the its a printwheel homing problem requiring a technician to repair.
