Question about Sharp AR-5316 Advanced Digital Imager Copier
We have an old Sharp Copier AR-5132 and no longer have the manual. A message comes up "call for service" and "F1". Is there any way of fixing this on our own because the warranty has been up for years. Even if we cannot fix it on our own, just knowing what is wrong with it will be extremely helpful. Maybe we just need to clean the inside of it and reset it somehow.
It is the finisher alright but on a Sharp machine there are six types of codes associated with an F1. You can tell by the last 2 digits after the F1 code:

Generally F codes have to do with the finisher(used to be called a sorter). with the machine off, diconnect the finisher cord from the copier and power back on. This should allow you to test the copier. I'm not sure on this model how exactly the finisher cord comes out. but it should be self explanitory when you see it.

How do resolve f1-06 code on my sharp 5132 copy.
I understand it is shift motor overload.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
