Question about Toshiba 42H81 42" Rear Projection Television
Hi ,with regard to your ans about using the component inputs to test if hypern unit is faulty is it possible to watch the tv via these inputs without any line problem?many thanks
Didn't see the original question or follow-up, but the answer is no -- If the hyper module is failing and causing the wavy or line squiggles it will be apparent on ALL outputs to some degree and continue to get worse until the high ESR (equivilent series resistance) of those failing caps cause the chip sets to eventually fail then it will be nearly impossible to repair the module.
