I have a dell wireless keyboard that quit working. I replaced the batteries then pressed the green button on the back of the keyboard. Then I pressed the button on the wireless thing that plugs into the computer. That light blinked for a few seconds then turned off. The keyboard still doesn't work.

The first thing you need to do is to press and hold the green button on the bottom of the reciever until the light on the reciever blinks, then press and hold the green button on both the mouse and keyboard until the blinking stops. If this does not work all you need to do is replace your batteries.Hope this helps,Joe
There should be a small button on the bottom of the wireless receiver and another small button on the bottom of the keyboard. Press the button on the bottom of the reciever first, then quickly press the button on the bottom of the keyboard. This is the connect sequence needed to connect the two devices.
first make sure your receiver is plugged in properly. if your mouse has a reset button on it try pressing it. then then press the reset button on your receiver(if any) this might solve the problem. if not it might be a software problem. hope this helps.

The keyboard should have a button underneath it. Press the button on the usb controller first and then the button on the keyboard. Repeat a few times to see if it connects. If you are still having trouble try another set of batteries as some batteries are not designed for wireless products.
Did you replace the batteries? This sounds like it may be the problem. A year is a lomg time for batteries depending on how often you use the computer. After changing the batteries, you may have to do this:
Turn the mouse over and find the small
rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it.
This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly.
