Dell wireless keyboard not working

I have a dell wireless keyboard that quit working. I replaced the batteries then pressed the green button on the back of the keyboard. Then I pressed the button on the wireless thing that plugs into the computer. That light blinked for a few seconds then turned off. The keyboard still doesn't work.

My dell wireless mouse is not working. can u help

Hi, The first thing you need to do is to press and hold the green button on the bottom of the reciever until the light on the reciever blinks, then press and hold the green button on both the mouse and keyboard until the blinking stops. If this does not work all you need to do is replace your batteries. Hope this helps, Joe

How do I get my Dell wireless keyboard to work after replacing the batteries?

There should be a small button on the bottom of the wireless receiver and another small button on the bottom of the keyboard. Press the button on the bottom of the reciever first, then quickly press the button on the bottom of the keyboard. This is the connect sequence needed to connect the two devices.

first make sure your receiver is plugged in properly. if your mouse has a reset button on it try pressing it. then then press the reset button on your receiver(if any) this might solve the problem. if not it might be a software problem. hope this helps.

  • Normal 0 Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver.

If the MOUSE isn’t working, push the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the mouse to connect to the receiver. Then they should work okay.

Not wanting to patronize but asking the dumb questions first: have you pressed the green buttoin on the base of the keyboard AND the one on the receiver? Are your drivers up to date?

Dell Wireless Keyboard stopped responding, please help.

The keyboard should have a button underneath it. Press the button on the usb controller first and then the button on the keyboard. Repeat a few times to see if it connects. If you are still having trouble try another set of batteries as some batteries are not designed for wireless products.

Wireless mouse quits working after a few seconds

Did you replace the batteries? This sounds like it may be the problem. A year is a lomg time for batteries depending on how often you use the computer.
After changing the batteries, you may have to do this:
Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud
