I have a resistor problem in sanyo ST-21G1

thats a very old crt tv try sanjo website for parts but i think a line timebase/flyback transformer for that model will not be easy to find

Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. look for the colour code on the resistor and then look it up on a chart ,different values between a silver band and a gold band but the value is the same its just the % tollerance ,gold band is a lower tolerance

Check if Horizontal ouput is shorted.Check if you have B+ (135VDC) power supply and secondary supplies working(12VDC, 5VDC) and check if you have horiz. drive pulse from drive transformer.
A common fault for dead set is the capacitors in the power supply (secondary of transformer) - no 12VDC supply.

I can not even begin to help without the model number as each model is slightly different. Can you post that please?

There should be a small valued cap in the primary side (22ufd?) at 250V. Check that. Also, look for other small caps int he range of 2.2ufd with 200V ratings in the same general area.
