I guess you just re-install windows (any version)? If you re-install Windows XP from scratch you will have 30 days. If you repair windows xp you can;t activate because your internet connection is not working. You should not have post your XP product registion code.
To activate your Windows XP operating system after you have re-installed Windows XP it will ask you to Activate your Windows.
If you decide to do it later you will be given a reminder when you open Windows next time.
To activate your Windows click on Start - Activate Windows and if you are connected to the Internet you can activate the Windows automatically, otherwise you can avtivate Windows by the phone. Just follow the on screen instructions.
