Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
Everytime I try to shutdown either by using the controller or hitting the power button, my 360 elite won't turn off! TO shut it off I just have to pull the plug. WHAT CAN I DO??? HELP!!!
im guessing you have some problems with your Elites motherboard, could possibly be damaged electronics within the motherboard, as it is the motherboard on the Xbox which prepares the system for shutdown when the button is pressed and also wirelessly through the controller.
Luckily Xbox systems come with 5 years warranty. and because this is potentially a hardware issue, i would recommend contacting Xbox customer support to solve this issue. their contact information can be found on http://www.xbox.com/support
Hope this helps
