yes. they are a big company so you have to keep on them. if you have been hacked you should change all you passwords from another computer and shut that one down untill the hacker has been removed

go to yahoo.com and type in email and pass yahoo also has something where if someone hacked in your email and changed your pass you can make a new one and get all your emails back gmail also has that too

it is probably that your account was hacked. so as soon as possible try to recover it click cant access account then answer the security question
if secondary email id was provided you would get the pass word reset confirmation code to your secondary email id helping you to recover your account

Thats basic hacking if its on your computer. Try pass-grabber or keyboard memory. If its on computer you cant get to its advanced hacking what i cant help with :/

Cant be sure, You ask your old friends if and why they removed you as a friend?
Your account could have been hacked, and the hacker removed most of your friends...
You may have had a facebook virus that spammed your friends with pointless emails and chain letters. (Myspace is nutorius for this one.)
