When I try to delete a photo my camera will delete the photo then read, Memory Card Error.

Reformat the memory card. If that doesn't resolve the issue toss it and get a new card. No sense in risking losing photos with a defective card.

How i recover photo was lost

Are you saying you accidentally deleted a photo? Did you do it on your camera or on your computer? What kind of memory card do you have? If you just simply deleted the photo and did not write over it or reformat the memory card you can get it back. All you need to do is insert then memory card into the computer. Try downloading Pandora Recovery, go to Cnet Downloads and just search for the program. I would recommend using the "Pandora Recovery Wizard"

I accidentally reformatted by digital camera, thus deleting my pictures. can i recover them?

Yes-- DO NOT take any additional photos with this card or write any additional information to the card at all, or you will permanently overwrite the photos. Lock the card by sliding the "lock" tab on the side of the SD card.
You can use an "undelete" utility to recover the photos. Some camera shops or computer shops may be able to provide this service to you.
(Reformatting the card will make the card appear to have 0 photos stored, but it will not actually erase the information completely, so this specialized software can often times recover your images.)
Good luck!

Accidental reformatting of memory card

First do not panic! It is possible to recover your pictures if you take care. Take the card from the camera (powered off) and if it has a "write protect" tab then lock it now. Do not try and write anything to the card or you risk causing more problems.

You can either plug in you camera to the PC as it should appear as a “Removable Drive” or put the card in a card reader attached to your PC.

Next, if you are comfortable with using a PC then you can download a FREE utility that will recover your photos from the following link:

If you need something a little more "user friendly" then you will need to buy the software. If you search the web for photo recovery software you will find many.
One I have used successfully is RescuePro that used to be bundled with some Sandisk products. Now you can get it from the link below:

You can try the demo to see what you can recover before buying.

Remember - Do NOT try & write anything back to the card until you can recover your pictures to your PC safely!

Please take a moment to rate this solution & let us know if the information given was useful to you – Good Luck!
