No. sorry My friend, you have to use the original reomote. Theres a display button on this remote under the zero. Its available through http://www.remotes.com as a replacement original. You can also see if anybody you kinow has a emerson TV with a remote,as most will work most sets. If thats not the case see if someone local to you sells emerson TVs or repairs them, and has one you can borrow for you to take off the display.
