Is the music on the card in a format the phone can read... are the files mp3's or wma? or even wav? check the phones manual to see what it can deal with

your phone may be able to use wma files... a very few can... but most phones can only use mp3 files use a convertor to turn them into mp3's... if you have an mp3 file laying around on your computer you could copy it onto the card to 'test' if your phone uses mp3's

I have a Sansa e250 I have put a new Micro sd card with 8 gb memory into the card slot it has music loaded on to it ( when it is in the computer it comes up and shows what is on it ) the player does not...

The e-series uses microSD cards. Your 4GB card is actually a microSDHC card. While it fits into the slot it is not electronically compatible and will not work in the e250. You need to stay with microSD cards, 2GB and smaller.

The newer Fuze series will accept microSDHC cards.

How do i use a micro sd card with my sansa e250

It's pretty simple really. To actually get music on your micro sd card you have to put it into an adapter and connect it to your computer. Then you have to put the music on the card seperately. Then plug it into your sansa and it will recongnize the songs and play them like normal

Hey! samsung SGH-E250 doesn't support 4GB memory card. Try a 2GB or 1GB memory card.

How to access SD micro card on sansa e250

I expected to find the new playlists on the SD card as a separate file to access and play. Instead the SD card songs show on up the Sansa menu simply added among the existing songs / artists stored in the Sansa. Its not a solution but they are there. Since using the SD card, my Sansa does databse refresh everytime it starts, whether SD card is in it or not.

I uploaded pictures, songs and videos into 1GB micro SD card. But in Sansa e250 am able to see only songs in it. am unable to view pictures or vidoes stored in SD card. please help me.

The Sansa will only show photos and play videos from its internal memory, not the microSD card. You can put music on the card, but not photos or videos.

Samsung E250 Music from SDCARD

vampey666 hello,

Check that the format is WAV or MP3 like it's supposed to.
Also, check that the files are loaded to the correct library on the card - Music or MP3.

4GB micro sd card.

According to what I've read, you can double the original memory, but no more than that, so the max you can have on a Sansa e250 would be 4 GB (2GB internal memory and 2GB external memory). I also read that the micro SD cards holds
music only-no video.

Sansa e250 using micro sd card

Go to the knowledge base on the Sansa site and find this (chances are you have an SDHC card in an incompatible unit):
Sansa e200
 - verify the version of the player.  To check, go to SETTINGS > INFO

For 01.xx.xx firmware (e200 version 1) - up to 2GB microSD cards
For 03.xx.xx firmware (e200 version 2) - up to 16GB microSDHC cards
NOTE: Firmware is not interchangeable.

Sansa e200R - up to 2GB microSD cards

Sansa e100 - supports SD cards up to 2GB
