Yes it may be but no one can figure out what exactly is the problem unles confronted with the error msg. You have not mentioned the Operating system or the Video card brand. Also make sure that no background processes are conflicting with the game. Turn of your antivirus and other spyware utilities while playing.  Also plz check with the game manufacturers website if there are any known compatibility issues with the Graphic card you use. Please update your Video drivers.  Generally the above measures will fix your problem It will be helpful if you post the Video card model and OS.  Also, if you are aware of page file, please care to increase it if its set below the default value. The page file should be generally around double the value of Ram.

I bought a new 1GB ram(DD2) when i insert it it nt work bt whenever i insert it with old 512MB ram then its work bt in bios setting only show the 1GB ram

Maybe 1GB is the maximum amount of memory that your system will hold. And maybe your system likes memory to be in pairs, so when you put the 1GB in by itself it didn't work, but when you put it in with a 512MB it works.

Increase graphics from 96 to 128

If you have insralled the correct video driver and you cannot increase the VIDEO RAM then it is not possible to increase the bit color from 96 bit to 126 or 256 bit color.
The only way to have a higher bit color is to install a new graphics card that supports up to 256 bit color (this video card will have large cideo RAM).

You may be able to increase the video RAM in the BIOS configuration.
The laptop's built-in video card most likely uses shared RAM, it uses part of the main RAM models and the more you grab for the video RAM the less main memory is available, You may need to install more RAM to make the laptop run better.

More Ram for graphics

You can share the RAM for VGA max of 256 only for some motherboards. On BIOS select the AUTO instead of selecting 128MB share memory.

I need 2 restart comp after running graphic apps

Sounds like your system is not freeing the RAM after using the program. You can manually close them by going into the processes section of your task manager or rebooting. Best solution would be to try upgrading system RAM and see if more RAM fixes the problem. Hope this helps.
