I am really sorry to hear that, if you have done all the steps, then I would highly suggest to contact AT&T because they have a system that will just activate your outlook on their end, I believe they will just unblock something on their system then you are good to go.
I guess both of you have an email account to Att.net, but only your email password and log-in name is the only one that your computer remembered. So here are the steps: 1. click the Start button located at the bottom left of your screen(if your using Win Vista or 7 it would be the circular Windows logo) 2. click Control Panel, select Internet Options 3. under Browsing History click delete 4. and then put a check mark under Passwords, Temporary Internet Files and History. 5. Open up a fresh email browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox etc. 6. go to att.net website and then you will see that the log-in and password fields are empty then you can try to log-in using your husbands user name and password
If you looking for POP3 SMTP Mail Servers then it would be AT&T WorldNet
incoming mail server: postoffice.worldnet.att.net AT&T WorldNet outgoing
mail server: mailhost.worldnet.att.net or incoming mail (POP3) ->
ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net
Just for POP, I think should be somethinnd
like [email protected] or pop.att.yahoo.com
Incoming Mail Server
(POP3): Host Name: ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net:995 User Name:
[email protected]
Try going to http://Helpme.att.net your support site or try calling your Internet provided and asked them to create a new username and password for your wireless connection.
If your asking for the username and password that you set in the modem configuration page more likely you are going to reset it and call your Internet service provider for the default username and password for your 2wire modem configuration page.
