Remote lock work now with only one of the remotes. Both have new batteries. But even with the one that does work its iffy. Sometime it will open from the porch and other times it won't open standing next to it. In addition to that at about 87k the odometer stopped displaying the total milage. It will display the trip data and I can reset that value to 0. But the mile that car has driven.
Hello William,
The key fobs are wearing out and need to be replaced. Sometimes taking them apart and cleaning the switch contacts and battery contacts will extend their lives but they are not built to last.
I believe your vehicles ECU sends the mileage data to the instrument panel cluster...in which the LCD odometer display has failed.

Have you tried changing the battery in the remote? Also try unhooking your cr battery overnight to see if it resets the module

I had the same problem. The dealer thought I was crazy when I explained the problem. They would drive the car and then try it and obviously it worked. They said it was fixed. It happened again. So they replaced the remote saying there was an internal failure. It still was a problem. They finally called chevy headquarters and found out there is an updated receiver for the 2007 model. I installed it and now it works. Good thing it was still under warranty.

It took me a few attempts to program a new keyless remote for my 2002 Chevy Blazer.
Insert key into ignition but don' turn it yet. While holding down the UNLOCK switch on the door, the trick is to cycle the ignition ON OFF ON OFF as quickly as possible then release the UNLOCK switch. If done correctly the door locks will cycle 1x to acknowledge. Then hold both the unlock and lock buttons down on the remote for about 15 seconds. The locks should cycle again to confirm...Hope this helps.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, CHANGED OUT BATTERIES IN MY REMOTES AND HAD THEM TESTED AND THEY WORKED FINE. THEY DEALERSHIP STATED IT WAS NOT UNDER WARANTY AND IT WOULD COST $600 TO FIX IT. YOU CAN ONLY REPLACE IT THRU A CHEVY DEALERSHIP. KIND OF A SCAM!

You must take it to the Chevy dealer.
Testimonial: "thank you"
1 Put the vehicle in park, and turn the ignition to "On/Run" (don't crank the engine).
3 Press and hold the odometer trip stem again for three seconds. You will see the message "Remote Key Learning Active."
