2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee won't Turnover

Did you ever get the starter problem fixed? I have the exact same problem and couldn't describe it better. After reading the owner's manual it looks like it may be a problem with the Sentry Key Immobilization System. I am taking mine in to get it looked at.

Jeep 2001 Grand Cherokee turns over but never starts. Doesn't run for 2 seconds and turn off. Immobilization indicator does light, flash once and remain on. All analog gauges on instrument panel are not functioning. Everything else electrically works in vehicle.

I have a 2001 jeep grand cherokee drive it a while turn the engine off wont start back up

Your starter solenoid armature is sticking. It is mounted atop the starter and the heat from the exhaust manifold sometimes causes this problem on older systems. You can try a temporary fix by placing some type of heat shield over the solenoid using something that is fire proof but replacing the solenoid will eventually be necessary.

04 jeep grand cherokee won't start just drags,

Could be a failing starter or problems with the cables.
A dead cell in the battery will do it too.

Ran out of gas in a 2001 jeep cherokee limited 4.7 awd now it wont crank is it the fuel pump or is there a relay or reset

Not aware of any re-set on Jeeps. But you said it won't crank? Starter is not working? Please clarify.
If it won't crank over from the starter, your problem is in the start circuit, and not affected by fuel pump operation. So, please reply.

Chrysler products are notorious for the crankshaft sensor going out and causing the symptoms you are describing. It also won't set a code to turn the check engine light on.

Your starter solenoid is going bad. You can either replace the soleniod on the starter or replace the entire starter assembly.

G'day mate , my best tip would be to take it back to the electrician, reason is that on a complex set of systems such as a motor car when one "weak" part is replaced then the next weakest one will show up, its a process of elimination not a quick fix , give the man a go as he is highly trained ( we would hope ) hope this helps
