How to re-insert bobbin shuttle

The needle jammed down in the fabric and I could not raise the needle using the wheel. I removed the bobbin case and saw that thread was jammed. In order to reach it, I had to remove the outer ring thing and the shuttle. I cleared the jam and the needle moves up and down. But now I can't figure out how to re-insert the shuttle and outer ring thing. Please help!!

my thread keeps knotting up under the material also, jamming my machine. The three bobbin pieces are a test of luck to get back together. I've managed to twice, after about 30 minutes, but am not sure how I did it. I can't seem to get it together this time.

SOURCE: the needle jammed down in

I solved it myself this way. This is not hard, in fact you can go to www.singerco.com and download your manual for free, then go to page, 82, and enlarge( 200%) the diagram, you then can see your parts really easy. Just take a deep breath and relax, you can do this. Let me know if this helps. I know it is so frustrating when that little thing does not want to cooperate. Good luck. 1. Turn the power switch to "o".
  2. Raise the needle to its highest position by turning the balance wheel towards you (anti-clockwise) and raise the presser foot lever.
  3. Open the shuttle cover behind the extension table on the the front of the machine and remove the bobbin case by pulling its latch towards you and pulling it out of the shuttle race. (fig A).

  5. Holding the bobbin case by the latch, fully insert the bobbin case into the shuttle race and release the latch. Make sure the bobbin case finger fits into the notch at the top of the race as shown in fig C.

My needle is jammed in a down position. What do I need to do to get it to move and to get my fabric out?

You have a "birds nest" of thread in the bobbin case. work the flywheel back and fourth until you get the needle to raise. Then you will need to cut bobbin thread under fabric before you can remove fabric.

Singer futura quartetis stuck in zig zag stitch. How do I get it out?

1.Switch off your machine and raise the presser feet up.
2.Raise the needle by turning the hand wheel towards you.
3.Carefully using your ripper or embroidery scissor to cut off the threads underneath the fabric(you may have to loose that part of your fabric if its too much entangled)
4.If the threads are still stuck in the bobbin case, use your GS screw driver to open the screws holding the throat/needle plate. Be very careful not to scratch the bobbin case when getting the threads out.
5.Once the entangled threads cleared, install back your bobbin case to be nicely seated on the grove of the rotary hook, then fix back the throat/needle plate. Before putting back the bobbin, turn hand wheel to bring needle up and down to ensure no jam. If OK you may proceed your sewing.

The needle is stuck in the Shark 612C model sewing machine, any solutions?

Try http://www.fixsewingmachine. com I also suggest that you clean bobbin case. Now, when needle is "stuck", this requires patience and care in "jiggling" the hand wheel to and fro until needle point begins to clear the jammed area. Carefully snip one thread that moves up under needle and jiggle hand wheel by carefully turning hand wheel toward you to see if you can move the take-up lever all the way up to the UP position. Look at bobbin case area and remove bobbin. Cut bobbin thread and remove bobbin case. Sweep gently with brush underneath case and carefully, gently sweep over the feed dogs, poking very ends of brush bristles into "teeth" area to remove lint, fuzz ball/s, and any loose thread/s. Raise presser foot, remove (possibly bent) needle. Insert new needle of appropriate size for fabric weight. Make sure needle pushed all the way up into needle bar groove, at side to back. Keep presser foot RAISED while rethreading. This allows thread to locate tension discs, and HOLD THREAD TAUT. Replace bobbin, making sure thread is EVENLY distributed on it. Imablanced bobbins cause jams, and bobbins with burrs and scratches can real havoc as well as the hook part of the shuttle where the bobbin fits. Smooth such areas with emery cloth carefully, ever so gently. Hope my suggestions are a solution for you. Jimmy

Bobbin trouble

Remove the needle plate for better access and try using a seam ripper to gently cut the threads and continue to remove with the tweezers.

The needle plate is the metal plate under the presser foot and is held into place with at least two screws.

The bobbin fits into the bobbin case.

The bobbin case fits into the bobbin shuttle.

Once you get the jam cleaned away, raise the needle to it's highest position and remove the bobbin case and/or replace the bobbin case.

Jamming can cause the machine to be out of time.

If you thead the machine with the presser foot up, have the bobbin inserted into the bobbin case correctly and the stiching is loose and loopy the machine may need to go into the shop for service.

Brother innovis 700e jammed can i take the case off

It would not be a good idea to take a computerized machine apart.

Turn off the power. Remove the needle and presser foot.

If the hoop is still attached, remove the inner hoop to release the fabric and then remove the outer hoop.

Lift up the fabric and use a seam ripper or narrow-blade craft knife to cut the threads.

Take the fabric away.

Open the needle plate and remove the bobbin and bobbin case.

Clean the shuttle and surrounding area from any accumulation of lint or thread from the jam.

Change to a new needle.

Try a different, simple design to see if the machine is working correctly before going back to the design you were using when the machine jammed.

If this continues, the machine may need to go into the shop as jamming can cause the timing to be off.

Fabric not feeding and jamming occurs

When this happens it is because the thread tension was not right so it gets stuck under the bobbin case and the feed dogs. Use a bigger lint brush and take out the bobbin casing and clean out the shuttle. When you rethread pull slightly on the thread before you feed it through the needle. This will make sure the thread is properly in the tension discs.
