Question about LG VX5300 Cellular Phone
So I traded my old phone about a month ago for my fathers LG VX5300 and it has worked great until two or three days ago. I do not have any idea what is wrong every once in a while it works, barely works but even then I lose the calls and the person on the other end has a hard time hearing me. The display says that I have reception so that is confusing also I have made a few calls and texts that were successful but only a few. I can't run my business with a phone that works on magic please help!
If you haven't already, try removing the battery while the phone is still on....this is called a "hard reset" and can often help resolve "glitchy" performance. You could also try Over The Air (OTA)programming if your service provider offers it. Verizon's OTA number to dial is *228, then choose option 1 when prompted. If that doesn't help, you may try taking it to a store to have the phone "flashed", where you get upgraded software version or have the same version reinstalled to resolve any corruption of existing phone software.
If NONE of these suggestions help, considering replacing the phone, either through warranty exchange, phone insurance program, or upgrade purchase.
