Question about Imperial IFS40 Deep Fryer
The pilot stay on ,ok . but when l turn the valve on and the thermostat on too
this make click noise and the pilot shut off .
Hello. Two things are possible. If your pilot is ok after lighting, and it goes out only when you additionally turn on the thermostat, most likely your thermopile is internally shorted, and is able to produce enough voltage to actuate the pilot portion of the valve, but opening the main part via the thermostat requires more load than the thermopile can produce, thus it now drops out the entire circuit.
The other is that your pilot is dirty, and is not heating the thermopile to a adequate temperature, to again, be able to handle the load of the entire circuit, as the thermopile is the only thing producing voltage/current for the heating circuit, thus no outlet to plug it into etc.. you could have loose/dirty connections, or low gas pressure, or one of the wires of the circuit is touching the frame, however, those are less likely from the problem you describe, not impossible, but less likely.
Hope that helps, and thank you.
