is a problem with the Theft-Loc system. I believe you will have to
take it to the dealer to have the radio unlocked. I found this
procedure on the web, but I don't know if it will work. Good luck.
1. Turn the ignition ON (The radio should display "LOC")
2. Hold down the Radio Presets 2 and 3 buttons for six seconds
radio display changes from LOC to a three-digit number. Write this
number down. You now have fifteen seconds to complete the next step.
4. Press the AM/FM button
5. The radio display changes to another three-digit number. Write this number to the right of the first one.
6. You now have a six-digit number, the first three digits are from STEP 03 and the last three digits are form STEP 05
You can try clearing the code and then running the machine. Try colding down the pause and clear button simultaneously for three second s and the faul should clear Or try turning the knob around 9 times to clear the fault.
this is not true. all the dealer needs to due is to depress the #2 & #4 preset radio buttons to get a 6 diget code so they can call GM to get the 4 diget unlock code.
They just a bunch a money, however it does require some time even for someone that knows how to do it.
The LOC code merely means the control responded and locked the door. You'll find a tech sheet under the top panel of the machine to help guide you thru the diagnostic process, which is fairly involved.
LOC means it thinks the control panel is locked. This gives the ERR indication when you push the buttons. To unlock it you need to hold down the Options and Select buttons together until it reacts.
I know this may seem silly but - On the top right back corner of your washer hit it with medium force with your fist, this helps.
