Question about Magellan RoadMate 700 GPS Receiver
I have a gps magellan 700 and it was working well until today that it does not have sound at all. Everythin else is working fine. How i can get the sound back. Please help me.
Check to see if the sound will start working when you either run the tutorial or when you do the audio test. If it does work when you run these tasks, then you've got bigger problems than I deal with. As I would just swap out a ckt card, you do not have that capability. Alright, without having any addt'l parts, I'd open up the GPS and check the two wires and connectors inside to make sure they aren't split and that they are (obviously) still connected to the radio board.. (brd over keypad) You could have a blown speaker. If you have any contact cleaner then spray the audio adjuster b/c alot of times that gathers alot of build up. So, yea.. check your connections inside, there's really not too much that you can do, without additional parts to test them out. hope this helps atleast a little bit. -Daniel
