Sound on all channels except 2 network channels

The TV is fully "auto programed" for all channels. The sound works on all channels except for 4 and 5. The cable is working fine for those channels with all of the other TV's in the house.

SOURCE: cannot program cable to tv

if your are using a cable box,all of your channels will be control only on the cable, what you are going to do is use the remote control of the cable box.

Universal remotes don't like combo units. If your original reomte worked before you lost it you are going to have to buy the original remote to solve your problem.

SOURCE: TV was receiving all channels offered by cable

Make sure the tv is set to "std cable". You can find this in the menu under antenna settings.

Can't get sound on channel 4 only. Any ideas? The sound is fine on all other channels and there is sound on channel 4 on my other TV sets. I've tried pushing the mute on the remote to see if it was muted...

You might try resetting the TV to the default (look in the Menus for a Options or Tools menu and a command like Restore Default or Memory Recall). Then exit the menu (and save the settings). Return to the menu and rescan all channels.

I do not know if this will help in your case but it is a simple thing to try. I have a tv (a different manufacturer) that had a similar problem. When my outdoor antenna was pointing directly at transmitter, the closest station gave me no audio on one sub-channel and no video on the other. All the other stations were fine. Doing the reset and subsequent rescan resynched the audio and video for the sub-channels.

I hope this helps.

Sylvania 6719DC + E Circuit 6 in 1 Remote Control

I bought this at a Dollar Store and it works great.

1) Turn TV on. Do not worry about what channel.

2) Press and release TV1 button on remote. Depending on what unit your trying to sync.

3) Press and hold SET and ON buttons together for about three seconds until light begins to flash.

4) Release buttons, light will continue to flash and search.

5) Be prepared to immediatly press SET button when Television Set turns off. Be patient this may take a few minutes.

I wasn't able to find information on this. Just got lucky. Hope this information helps. Good Luck!

Can I use another remote?

I have the same model TV, also without a remote. I found a Philips universal remote model CL019 at Big Lots and it works just fine. However, for some reason when I tried to program in the channels it would only program in up to channel 23, and then after about 15 seconds add channel 60. Can anyone help?

Hi, sounds like the antenna. Maybe get an Aerial company to check it out for you as you might not be picking up a strong enough signal.

No Sound

First of all try getting a Symphonic remote - not that expensive. Then you can access all areas of the TV, including all sub menus and see how the audio is set-up.. Could be you have it in SAP mode, (Second Audio Programming), in which case you will hear nothing...

CCVG297 broksonic 9" TV

When the channels show up in red thats an indication that they are not programmed into the TV set. Your going to need the original remote, go into the menu and then press auto scan with an attenna attached to the set. If it wont scan then you have a bad microprocessor
