I guess I posted in the wrong area. I have recieved picture messages of family members and, being a soldier, I hardly see my family. I would REALLY like to be able to save these pictures.

If Any one has any solutions I really don't care how tedious or how much work the solution is.

If there is a way to save the pictures I am willing to deal with it until a better solution is developed.

In your message view in sms, long tap the area around the picture, meaning tap it with your finger and hold it there. After a couple seconds a menu will come up allowing you to forward the message via email. Only problem is when you forward to Gmail you can't see the images, you need to forward to yahoo or something similar. I have NO idea why the google phone doesn't mesh well with gmail, that makes no sense at all.

Hi there,

unfortunately as it stands there is no functionality for saving your MMS pictures directly onto your phone, the only way it can be done is you have to forward the message to your Gmail account, which will then arrive on your phone and from there you should be able to open the email and download the picture.

its a long and annoying process, but they will be looking to overhaul alot of the missing parts of the OS within the next few months of operation !

Hope this helps

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Unable to send and recieve picture messages

hi

firstly contact your operator and request for sending you the mms activation settings once you receive them as a message save them on the phone now you are ready to send and receive MMS messages

now to the part of sending an MMS
go to messages click on the
  • menu then New then MMS
  • now key in the addresse in the TO part and in the msg body
  • go to select insert Picture/ Video to insert a picture or video from your gallery
  • similarly if you want to add text select the text
  • also the same for audio
you can select all or any of the picture/ text/ audio and send as an MMS

hope this helped
cheers

On the view, you have to touch the picture itself in the message and it will give you the option to save it.

I cant receive picture messages

The problem is that supposedly before you can receive picture messages, you have to send one first. Tell a friend that you are going to test it out on them and send them a picture message. It will take a while for it to go through
Then all the texts that you receive before with the "download' button in them in the place of a picture automatically turn into pictures.
Unfortunately as it stands there is no functionality for saving your MMS pictures directly onto your phone, the only way it can be done is you have to forward the message to your Gmail account, which will then arrive on your phone and from there you should be able to open the email and download the picture. To do so follow these steps
From the Home screen, touch the Applications button.
Touch Messaging.
Touch the message that contains the picture or video.
Press and hold in an empty space in the message.
Touch Forward.
Type a space or other character in the forwarded message (in subject or body of message)
At To, type the e-mail address.
Press the Menu key and touch Send.
Once received in the email this can be saved but the problem is when saved it may save it without a file extension therefore making it unviewable later
This should help and do let me know
