Question about Dell 922 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Poor picture I went to make an 8x10 print today for a friend and the photo was all washed out and the skin tones were very yellow looking with no detail or contrast. My computer says the cartridge is running low on ink. How long is the photo cartridge good for? The one I am using is over a year old.

The cartridge is only good as long as there is enough ink in it.. There is no specific time period, but depend upon how many colour intensive prints you'd been making so far. Try a new cartridge and see. that should resolve the issue. Mind you, best buy only original inks and not refilled or generic cartridges, as these could cause you complications in the future...

If you mean for one ink module, that will completly depend on the different types of pictures.... Beach scenes will eat up browns and reds, just like sunsets eat red/yellow, sky eats blues and so on.... Too hard to make the call.... Take care!!! Trick For Using Your Digital Camera

With film cameras you always wondered whether there was sufficient exposure in the census, and if there was another roll of film. With the camera you can take lots of pictures and then immediately switch to eliminate those that do not want. If you do not have the photo you want, you can probably try again. This is particularly useful for taking pictures of the group - somebody who always has his eyes closed. The two things that determine the number of pictures you can take before the download is the resolution (quality) and the amount of memory in your camera. You can buy memory cards that increase the number of photos the camera can hold.

Although it is possible to print large-sized 8x10 the highest resolution, eat memory, which limits the number of images you can store your camera. If you think about it, how many times you are going to be printing 8x10. Option is always there when you need it, but I recommend the vast majority of the pictures are taken with a medium resolution. When you have time to test a new camera, use the lower resolution may take several times, until you learned what you can do every option of a digital camera.

This useful feature allows you to take better pictures in bright sunlight where dark shadows can ruin a great photo. You can also use the shadow which illuminates the image look washed out without the full flash can provide. "Fill Flash" This is not the normal flash setting, is generally known and is less intense than the normal flash.

A polarizing filter gives you more contrast and richer, warmer tone when shooting outdoors. A polarizing filter can be rotated to give the desired effect. If you have polarized sunglasses, try to keep the sunglasses in front of your face and look through one of the lenses. Rotate the sunglasses and the difference in tone and contrast of your environment.

That's what you can do with a polarizing filter. If you do not have a filter, you can use your polarized sunglasses - just take one of the targets as close to your camera. Oh - Make sure your sunglasses are clean!

Canon Pixma yellow color problem

Either the ink you are using is not going to give the color you want, or you have print heads that are blocked.

Prints photos with yellow horizontal stripes.Hv downloaded HP printing diagnostic utility and no errors were reported. If just using scanner to copy photos, prints fine but copying photos in library p

go into the printer and do a test print. start>printer & faxes>right click on the printer in question>properties>printer preference button> test print ... try the printer's own test print. This is usually caused by a poor print head, low ink, poor cartridge or the need for calibration. Look in the maintenance tab in the printer properties for head cleaner, jet cleaner etc. This also happens with refill ink cartridges.

Problem with color quality - Canon PIXMA iP4000

i had this problem... its the ink! Check you are using magenta and NOT "photo magenta", and also that you are using "cyan" and NOT "PHOTO cyan"... basically photo cyan, photo magenta and photo yellow are not designed for the ip4000, if you check the smallprint on the box it does not list the ip4000.

This exact problem happened to me and it was driving me crazy. I think the "photo" versions of the inks are for printers that take two tanks of each colour, and the photo version is used for very subtle colours... so if you are ONLY using these inks, photos will appear washed out, yellow etc
