Language screen won't go away

posted by Sharae on Sep 04, 2006

TV/DVD stopped responding. Lost original remote, so bought universal remote. It is controling the power button fine, but that's all. Cannot get past the Language selection screen, even if I use the buttons directly on the faceplate.
