Question about Apple iPod nano
The battery had run down on my iPod because it was given to my daughter who forgot about it. When I plugged it in to recharge the battery it recharged but iTunes doesn't recognize it so I can't use iTunes to restore it. It cycles through the Apple logo and the restore message so windows repeatedly makes the sound like it is adding new hardware. I tried it on my desktop computer and my laptop but neither computer recognizes it. It is a black 2nd gen 2GB nano.
Go back to your desktop.....upgrade itunes even if you have the new version (it will say itunes is already on desktop do wish to overwrite say yes) once itunes is reinstalled plug ipod to desktop..this should pop up on itunes now....

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
