First, you should check the exhaust system, make sure every inch of it is clean on the inside. if it is clogged, there is sensors that turn off your heating element as a safety measure. if this is clean, there is 2 heat sensors, one of them probably needs replaced.

the exhaust is the air tube that carries the hot air from the back of your dryer to the outside of your house.

My tumble dryer keeps tripping the fuse book when I press start

There may be a loose wiring connection in the house wiring. Try using a heavy wire gage extension chord if it is gas, otherwise, go thru the dryer house circuit opening boxes and checking splices and connections. You'd brobably see char or discoloration of the wire insulation, if you do, you may be able to cut off the bad part and redo the connection, kill the power before doing this to avoid injury or other problems. I'd start at the circuit breaker panel, then at the receptacle outlet, then in between. If the dryer circuit has other items in it, then the circuit is being overloaded, run the dryer by itself.

The model number posted doesn't to exist but one for sure is that all Whirlpool Electric Dryers do have a thermal cut-out (off) which is actually a non-resettable fuse located on the heater housing. Click on the link below then enter the exact model of your dryer then select and click bulkhead and locate the part named thermal cut-out/off, a non-resettable fuse.

No heat but tumbles. Heater coil is good. Fuse will be checked next. How do I get into the top control panel so I can check the resistors$

what you need to check is not only the heater but the 2 thormostat mounted on the housing where the heater goes BOTH should have continuty with zero ohms. The thermal fuse will cut off the motor so since it tumbles thermal fuse is good

Run no heat

Common faults -
1 The heating elements can fail (meaning open circuit)
2 There are cut-outs (T.O.C's) that might need resetting
3 The thermostats (stats) can trip out or burn out (meaning opencircuit)
4 Moderntumble dryers also have sensors and pcb's (Printed circuitboards) thesehave programs that can fail and circuitry although most should produce an errorcode showing you were the fault is.
5 Faultyconnections and burned wires may also be the fault.

Hoover HDC7FM condensor dryer starts then cuts out

Open the dryer door (right after the breaker trips) and check for a burned smell. If it smells in the dryer, you probably have a direct short in the dryer wiring. Check for a burn smell at the wall socket. There may be a short in the socket itself, but not likely unless a mouse is lying across the contacts in the wall.
If everything checks ok replace the circuit breaker if this is an older home. Circuit breakers weaken after years of use. A 30 amp circuit breaker will trip at a much lower amperage after a period of years especially if it has tripped often.

Tumble dryer when switched on cuts power to all sockets in house

Try it with the heater disconnected, you will find it at the rear of the m/c at the bottom left behind a removable panel.
You may have to remove the top cover and the right hand side panel looking at the m/c from the front. Try it again.
I fit does not trip. then your heater is faulty.
If it still trips then you are probably going to have to call en engineer
