Problem for Denon DN-V310 DVD Player
Getting a Disc Error when trying to play a Chinese DVD

I received a DVD from China (probably Taiwan).
I have tried to play it on a number of different DVD players and none have been able to play the disc. The box indicates All NTSC.
I have now tried a Denon DN-V310 which is Region Free. I have set the unit to Region 0. I have gone into the set up menus and checked all the settings I can think of that might be preventing this disc from reading on this machine, including the rating level and Parental Controls. Everything I can set to Auto is thus set. All to no avail.
Any help of suggestions would be appreciated.

For starters, the Chinese have a totally different set of coding than most anyone else. So you would most likely actually have to buy a dvd player out of China to read it. Otherwise, get teh right codec's for your computer to play it on a dvd rom drive for the computer. Im sorry that this may not be what you are looking for, but ive learned from buying a lot of foreign movies, that you most often have to buy the playing equipment also from the country to play it.
