Yes this can be a touch pad failure that may need to be replace again , because with this type of device usually the touch pad is easy to get bad...

Good luck........

This is very likely due to a bad main electronic control board but the only way to know for sure is to do some electrical testing with a volt/ohm meter and the wiring diagram located within the appliance. If possible use the meter and the wiring diagram to check input/output voltages looking for discrepancies between the diagram and the actual meter readings.

Try jigling the ribbon cable that is connected to the control panel. These ribbon cables sometimes fail. Also check the fuse on the control board to see if it is blown.

SOURCE: Touchpad--No Response

See the notes about cycles taking forever. The relay that controls the heating element commonly gets warm enough to melt the solder around the connection, and the internal water heater stops heating. The "2H" indicates how much time the onboard computer thinks it will take to wash the load, based on previous loads, but if the last cycle was longer than 99 minutes, it shows 2 Hours. Repairing the controller board (or replacing it) should solve the problem. This is such a common problem, Bosch should have had a recall, but didn't.

Electrolux EX600 Dishwasher loosing power during wash cycle

Hi dan76n - Typically PF appears in the display when the dishwasher is first installed, or when power has been interrupted. HI-TEMP WASH, SANITIZE and START/CANCEL backlighting will also flash. To clear, touch START/CANCEL pad. If it proves to be ineffective, once again try resetting the dishwasher by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes, restart unit and select a cycle. If the problem continues, the dishwasher could possibly be experiencing a wiring failure or faulty board. At this point I will highly recommend connecting with a certified technician for a further diagnosis and to accurately assist with the repair(s).

PF, high temp wash and air dry lights blinking. Reset main breaker but no help.

Hello babe_dog01 - PF typically appears in window when dishwasher is first installed, or when power has been interrupted. HI-TEMP WASH, SANITIZE and START/CANCEL backlighting will also flash. To clear, touch START/CANCEL pad or resetting the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes. Since you have already done so and it was ineffective contact a professional to move forward accurately. Dishwasher could possibly be experiencing a communication error, wiring failure or faulty control board.

Top raCK OF DIRTY DISHES ADB1500AWW

This Dishwasher although working on one side should not be an issue as long as the dishes are getting clean. If your unit has the Pots and Pans setting or heavy wash cycle with this option pushed the water pressure should be then adequate and then be seen on both sides of the arm. If you have not tried this do so. This unit has several manufacture's problems to look out for..The control relay on the board fails leaving the dishwasher useless. The door locking safety feature has a bad switch these reports are public information in many reviews with the same problem over and over. So these things you should look for possibly in the future Maybe it never happens to you. The touch bottons are clicking on and off and nothing works. I had to shut the washer off in a hurry recently and this is the result.

Make sure the door is completely closed and latched. On models with a dual-digit display, the control displays "- -" during a cycle if it believes the door is not latched. Check for obstructions (spoons, etc), interfering with the door operation. A lower dish rack that is installed backward will also cause incomplete door closure. Is there power to the dishwasher Check your household electrical box to see if a fuse has blown or if the circuit breaker has tripped. I have a whirlpool DU1145 dishwasher that seems to be stuck on the same cycle. It shows it as sensing and washing at the same time and never shuts off. HELP! WHat could becausing this??

Sounds like your Touch Pad on the Control Panel is defective.

You can try and remove the 120 Volt AC power from the Dishwasher by turning it off at your Main Electrical Power Panel with the Circuit Breaker (15 or 20 amp) labeled: Dishwasher .

Leave the Dishwasher turned "Off" for 10 minutes. This will allow the control circuits on the Dishwasher to reset. Turn on the Dishwasher and press Cancel and attempt to Drain the Dishwasher. If this works...then try to enter a Rinse Only cycle and if that works... then attempt to enter a Wash Cycle.

If you still have your original problems then you probably have a defective:
(1) Touch Pad Assembly (or possibly a defective)
(2) Electronic Control Module (ECM)
