Call 1-800-hp-invent and an agent will sell you an extended warranty assuming the unit is still under the original warranty and fully functional. Be prepared to have your bill of sale handy so that the agent can attach the proper extension period to your warranty!
Hello there: this really depends on what the warranty was and what it covered ,t when you purchased the computer most computers come with a standard 6 or 12 month warranty and if you buy the extended warranty this could be a 3 or 5 year warranty so i would try to contact the acer tech help department and they will ask you for the model number so if you can give them tyhis this will help and they will be able to pull up the computer information ok? best regards michael
Sorry to hear about your HP problems with your DV2000 If you go to HP.COM and check the recalls and extended warranty. I some cases HP offers an additional 1 year from date of warranty expiration. or 2 years from date of purchase. If your unit has lost video, shuts down, won't startup.. Review, these areas under your model... Note....... Do not call HP if possible until you have found the needed information on your machine. 1. After you have your information, (A) copy it, (B) call on it. (C) Register your problem with HP and get a Trouble ticket on file. If HP is going to warranty to repair, they will issue you a New warrant for the New Repair, from the date of the New repair. Don’t waist time, one day can make the difference... Hope this information has been of help to you... John Ray P.S. Please check your LapTop battery’s for possible recalls. firstname.lastname@example.org Readers, please rate you Technician's Thank you.
